A USL Debut for an Academy Pro Graduate!

At PSG Academy Pro, players from around the world commit to 10 months of complete development as student-athletes, pushing each day towards their own goals.
Our team of multi-disciplinary coaches and teaching staff work closely with each resident to achieve success, often resulting in securing college offers with football scholarships or opportunities at clubs in Europe.
From Captain to College to Semi-Pro
For Alex Bouchet (Class of ’24), his exemplary leadership and discipline over his four years in France culminated in him wearing the captain’s armband in his final season.
Physically imposing and technically adept, Alex is a reliable center back who graduated from the Academy with an offer to play and study at Longwood University in NCAA Division I.
In summer 2025, Alex connected with PSG Academy Pro’s partner club in USL 2, FC Miami City, to join their first team for the season. This represents another significant challenge and a major step for Alex as he competes at one of the highest levels in the country while continuing to thrive as a college athlete.

Representing the PSG Way
We’re thrilled to see Alex Bouchet wear the colors of PSG Academy Pro’s partner club in the USA, representing the PSG methodology of football at both collegiate and semi-professional levels.
His journey serves as an inspiration to all players that with strong work ethic, belief, and ambition, they can discover higher and higher opportunities as they progress in their careers.
Alex’s pathway – from PSG Academy Pro to NCAA Division I to USL 2 – exemplifies the comprehensive development and professional networks that make our Pro Residency unique. His success demonstrates that elite European training, combined with academic excellence, opens doors at every level of the game.
