For the upcoming season, The ICEF has recruited Martin Paz Aguilar as their new head coach. Born in La Paz, Bolivia, Martin has adapted seamlessly to his new environment in the Lake Geneva region. Able to speak 3 languages (English, French and Spanish), he holds a UEFA A license and will bring all his experience he acquired from coaching in Lyon, France.

Martin worked with two of the best youth clubs in Lyon, and his new challenge is to drive the ICEF player to reaching their full potential. His style of play places a strong emphasis on intelligent play, individual technique, and demanding for each player to work hard in service for the good of the team. This season, Martin and the ICEF players will have opportunities to apply the European football methodology and make an impact against the best opponents in Europe this season.

Last season, the ICEF faced PSG, Olympique Lyonnais, AS Saint-Etienne and played the MIC international soccer tournament in Spain. These prestigious tests offer exceptional and unique exposure opportunities for the ICEF players to showcase their skills. The 2022-2023 calendar will be even more exciting.

Martin is determined to prepare his players to succeed at the highest level of professional football around the globe. Some of the ICEF players have already integrated professional structures and have been called up to national teams at youth levels.
