Over a 5-week period, the Paris Saint-Germain Academy Pro Residency Campus hosted elite football players from around the world.

Our inaugural edition of High-Performance Summer Clinics was marked by the incredible enthusiasm, commitment to excellence, and high-level of performance of our summer residents. The weekly schedule pushed players to reach for the next level with the Paris Saint-Germain training methodology, as well as forge friendships and memories that will travel beyond borders.

Intense Football Training and immersion

The football program elaborated by our Paris Saint-Germain Academy Pro staff included work on position-specific scenarios, equipping each player with the confidence and knowledge to make smart choices. Each week also began with a Masterclass on the path to the professional level in Europe, with former pro-player Alexis Thebeaux sharing his personal experiences.

A heavy emphasis was also placed on physical performance, thanks to GPS data collection. Video analysis workshops were led by a certified coach, allowing for players to learn even more about the Paris Saint-Germain style of play based on in-game scenarios. Finally, each week culminated with a match, setting the stage for the players to apply what they learned, followed by an award ceremony that celebrated growth and accomplishment.

Engaging Outdoor Activities

With nearly 300 participants from 46 nationalities, the Paris Saint-Germain Academy Pro Residency campus was an international hub of cultural exchanges. Thanks to our Hospitality staff, incredible activities in the local region were planned to support and encourage friendships and time for players to relax. Notable activities included paddle boarding, zip lining, and hikes.

A Season Beyond Expectations

Reflecting on the past 5 weeks, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all players, parents, coaches, specialists, and local actors who went above and beyond our expectations.

We’re now looking forward to August 28th, when our full-year players will arrive for what is to be the beginning of a historic season. With the foundation laid in this triumphant Summer Clinic, we stand ready to embrace the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead.
