Summer is almost over and student-athletes enrolled in the 10-month Pro Residency program at the International Center of European Football are getting ready for the new season kicking off in only two weeks!
Studying abroad, a life-changing experience
Studying in a foreign country, in a multicultural environment, allows students to mature into confident and successful individuals, expanding their cultural horizons and worldviews. At ICEF, the main language spoken amongst students is English, as it is the common language they share. However, students are exposed to a variety of different languages, as well as cultures, throughout their experience at ICEF.
They live in a French environment, are exposed to the French culture and lifestyle, and receive French classes at school. Student-athletes acquire French proficiency which is an added value that will be very beneficial for their entire lives. Even more, they are exposed to the European football culture, as well as receive exposure for professional opportunities in D1 or D2 European football clubs through a professional preparation modeled after the best-in-class European methodology. Students receive an authentic football education in Europe, where there is a true football culture.
About ICEF’s residents for the 2020-2021 season
The International Center of European Football was designed for international players born between 1997 and 2009 coming from all over the world, who aspire to play at the highest level of football.
